It’s certainly been a long time coming, but as of today, the rough draft for Restart Again: Volume 3 is officially completed. With a final count of 175,656 words, it is by far the longest thing I’ve ever written. That count puts it over double the length of Volume 1, and a huge increase over Volume 2 as well. I can guarantee you that Volume 4 will NOT have such a significant increase in word count (most likely a decrease!), though I didn’t intend for this one to be so long either, so…I guess we’ll see!

What’s next? I’ll give it my final readthrough over the course of this week, make any obvious changes I can find, and then send it off for editing. Insert artwork is also well underway, and should come together nicely in terms of scheduling with me receiving my edits and making any necessary changes. If I were to guess, I would say the final product will come together sometime in late April, or May at the latest. Obviously, I’ll give plenty of updates as things progress!

Speaking of Volume 4, it is now officially underway! The document has been generated and has a whopping 47 words written. It’s a bit intimidating to start from zero after such a massive volume, but I’m already jazzed up with ideas for this new arc in the story.

That’s all I’ve got for updates! Thank you to everyone who has read Volumes 1&2 and are eagerly awaiting Volume 3. I hope I can get it to you as soon as possible! Until then, stay safe out there, and as always, thanks for reading.
